huzzah
Missed the introduction last month. I don't listen to the podcasts, but I do enjoy the weird bumbling manner of the introductions to the issue.
It also gives me a little peek, as my subscription copy goes via my mum's house and I never look at it on the shelves.
So thankyou once again.
Ian Dury
Excellent to see Ian Dury remembered, the new film will I hope help us understand him a little more.
I featured a live concert bootleg of his on my website recently and was amazed at just how popular he remains (if the number of folk who have grabbed a free download are anything to go by).
Apologies if giving the site a quick plug is out of order http://beehivecandy.blogspot.com/ but atleast by sharing boots freely we stop the mafia flogging them.
Thanyou Word for featuring one of the best live bands ever The Blockheads & the much missed bloke who fronted them..
two things
lack of Gun Club knowledge and the rosy cheeks - bad shave Mr. E?

Mark my words ...
Looks good, but again still no feature on John Hiatt and I thot you told me ages ago that would be a good idea; and nothing either on Marshall Crenshaw who could have been big, but then wasn't big. This time out you've got a lookalikeBob on the cover which is neat and I'd love you to email me the original pic you sent to the cover graphic artist ... that I would love and cherish. So, there we go. I shall be getting the word when it hits the shelf near me, but it wasn't there today when I went looking ... maybe tomorrow, or the next time. Cheers.
